My boyfriend is about to have an operiation to repair an incisional hernia. He smokes about the equivalent of one joint per day. I know he should quit altogether and all that, but I doubt he will. Anyway, he is having the surgery Friday morning, and I would assume that he is going to smoke every night leading up to it, and thereafter as well. So I was wondering if this is going to have any effect on his anesthesia or surgery in general? I googled it but got nothing. Thanks if anyone can help!!:)
