I have this in both sides of my hips.I am currently on 60 5mg percs and 30mg Oxycontin. Recently my left hip is popping and grinding giving me great consistent pain locally and traveling up and down my leg. sleeping is awful,maybe one hour before the pain awakens me. This cocktail of pain medication doesn’t seem to do the trick anymore.I am currently on NJ medicaid and will be switched to an HMO Horizon on 07/09. My ? is how and when will they decide its time to fix or replace this hip joint. I am 40 yo male. How much pain will the docs expect you to bear before they take action? Is there any way to expedite the inevitable? This is so fucking pain full,I usually have a high threshold for pain, But this is unbearable. I cant walk but 1or 2 house lengths, cant sit for more than 10 min.laying down offers me the most relief and now that is almost done with. Does something have to actually BREAK before they will fix this? Has anyone had this disease and how long till you got it repaired?
