Why pain medication wont work well with me.?
I asked a question about how such small medication is supposed to affect you. But now I have a question on why my pain medication is not helping me. I have a problem with my ankles that cause a lot of pain when i am on them for around 4hours or more and especially when on uneven ground. My doctor gave me Meloxicam 7.5MG to take before i know ill be probably having pain. I took that and three extra strength Tylenol half hour before i went to work (6hr work shift of standing) and halfway through working i took three more Extra strength Tylenol but I still had a lot of pain. it seems as with that and many other things pain medication rarely has much of an effect on me. Is there a reason for this? (I forgot what the problem I have in my feet is called but the doctor said it is most likely a genetic disorder. what happens is if I stand to long or do to much activity standing or walking on uneven ground my ankles start to hurt. after I have sat down for a while the pain goes away but as soon as I try to stand up the pain is so bad I cannot stand. If I nurse my ankles and stand, then sit, stand, ect. they stop hurting to bad and I can walk. they did a CAT scan and it showed some kind of ????dessention??? with a joint in my ankles? is that what it is called?)
