I had surgery on my elbow about 10 years ago. I cut my tendon in 2 and it had to be reattached. My elbow now hurts every so often, especially recently. It just throbs and throbs and throbs and just feels like the joints are grinding together. I went to the ER and they took Xrays and said everything was ok and sent me home with a bottle of 15 Darvocet 100s that do not help what so ever. Could I call my family doctor (whom I havent seen for this peticular issue) and have him call in something stronger to a local pharmacy? If so, what medication do you suggest I ask about? I know something isnt right because on a scale of 1 to 10 on the pain, im at about a 8. its really bad and I cant sleep at night from the pain. Any help and info is greatly appreciated. Thanks!!
