Back Pain ?
Posted on July 06th, 2009 in Joint-Pain-Diagnosis
I have been dealing with lumbar pain for the last several years. Most doctors are saying DDD @l5-S1, and extremely arthritic joint (disc and facet joints). I agree with most of the diagnosis, but I have one syptom that the docs seem to ignore. I have a tremendous amount of pain from the L5 vertebrae. It actually hurts just to touch the spot, and the pain seems to radiated from this one spot. It is clearly not the disc that hurts, as the pain is on the spinal process ( which protrudes off the back of the vertebrae in the center). Can anyone give me an idea as to what might cause this pain, and if it makes sense as a symptom of the disc problem that has been diagnosed
